The price is fixed when you book, from 49 € per car, so it does not change with traffic or the time of day. The drive is about 35 km and usually takes about 45 min. The same car can be booked for the way back, the same evening or the next morning.

Where Agafay Luxury Camp is

Agafay Luxury Camp is a camp of tents with a pool in the Agafay desert, south-west of Marrakech. Several other Agafay camps are close by, and Lalla Takerkoust lake is about 20 minutes by car.

The road from Marrakech to the camp

From Marrakech the car takes the road towards Amizmiz and Lalla Takerkoust, leaving the city by the south-west. After about half an hour the tarmac gives way to the tracks of the Agafay desert. The car follows the track to the entrance of the camp and stops at reception. For dinner and a return the same night, the driver waits or comes back at the hour you set.

Dinner, sunset or a night in the desert

Guests go to Agafay Luxury Camp in three ways: for lunch and the afternoon, for sunset and dinner with a return at night, or for one or two nights. For the first two, book the return together with the outward trip and give the hour you want to leave. For a night at the camp, many guests leave the next day directly for Essaouira (from 90 € per car) or for Marrakech Airport.

Good to know for this transfer

• Write the name of the camp, Agafay Luxury Camp, in the booking note: every camp in Agafay has its own track.
• There is no taxi rank in the desert and little mobile signal in places. A return that is not booked in advance is difficult to arrange from the camp.
• Evenings in Agafay are cool, even in summer, and cold in winter. Take a jacket for the dinner outside.
