Taxi and transfers to Imlil
Imlil is a Berber village in the High Atlas, about 65 km south of Marrakech, at around 1,740 m of altitude. It is the starting point for the walk to Mount Toubkal, the highest summit in North Africa at 4,167 m, and for day hikes to Aroumd and the Azzaden valley. The road climbs through Tahanaout and Asni and takes about 1 h 30 from Marrakech.

Good to know
The car leaves you in the centre of Imlil, where the road ends for most vehicles. Guesthouses higher up, in Aroumd or Tamatert, are reached on foot or by mule; tell us the name of your lodge and we arrange the meeting point with them. Book the taxi back from Imlil at the same time, because there are few cars in the village after a trek.
